What should Taylor wear to a Grammys after party? The little Gucci dress, the little Gucci dress … or … the little Gucci dress. Tough call!
While we don’t have official photos from the event (rumoured to be hosted by her friend and longtime producer Jack Antonoff), I am always a sucker for a bow and this wool tweed crystal embroidered mini feels like a fun and sweet change from the very svelte and corseted look worn to the actual ceremony.
Taylor was spotted with a blazer at the after party that she originally picked up during the awards ceremony. During Janelle Monae’s tribute performance to Quincy Jones, Janelle tossed their rhinestoned blazer into the crowd. Taylor happened to be the one to grab it and wore it for a good remainder of the evening as well as, evidently, into the night at the after party she attended. As someone who personally loves a good blazer, I couldn’t resist tracking down the details. According to Janelle’s stylist, Alexandra Mandelkorn, this performance ensemble was custom by Alex Navarro with additional rhinestoning by Jeremy Louis. Navarro’s previous tailoring credits include Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga.
While an unintended styled portion of the evening, I can’t help feeling obsessed over the pairing of the blazer and dress. V chic!
