Worn On: 3/24/24 // Malibu, ca

the commentary

After taking a very deserved break following the most recent leg of the Eras Tour, Taylor has appeared in Malibu grabbing lunch out with Travis.

This ‘fit continues her streak of schoolgirl softness as well as her well established sartorial style pillars (repeats, high/low, indie designers).

The high/low and indie designer comes from her sandwich style accessories thanks to her long standing love of the more accessible Reformation and a new bag by French brand Joseph Duclos.

Joseph Duclos interestingly has a history tracing back to 1754 but has only recently been revived by new creative direction. Interestingly, the namesake of this ‘Diane’ bag was apparently meant to pay homage to a “muse who is powerful and mysterious”.

In true ‘I’ll just grab it in a different colour’ literal fashion, some of you may recall that Taylor previously wore this pleated skort last year in grey.

Continuing her love of loafers but rendered in the current trendy chunky silhouette.
